Dr. Dan Ward

Known for his humor and enthusiasm, Dr. Ward is widely regarded as one of the top Pueblo Colorado dentists. He has been practicing exceptional general dentistry since 1987.

Service, Family, and Fun

Dr. Ward is has participated in the United Way Care Day at Pueblo Community College. Also, in December of 2008 Dr. Ward provided a free dental care day at his Pueblo office as a gift to the community. He is pleased to host, "Bring in a Can for a Free Exam". This allows patients to receive a free dental exam and x-rays in exchange for a donation to the Food Bank.

Quality medical care is a source of passion in the Ward family. Dr. Ward's wife Diane serves as an NICU Nurse. Their daughter Amanda has applied to attend dental school starting in the fall of 2010, while their son Randy is a pre-med student attending college in Denver Colorado. In his spare time Dr. Ward enjoys exploring the mountain trails of Colorado in his jeep.

Education and Credentials

After studying Biology at CSU-San Bernadino, Dr. Ward graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. He keeps up to date on the latest dental technology and techniques through continuing education courses with special emphasis on Implant and Restorative Dentistry. Hi, my name is Pat and I am the front desk receptionist for Abacus Dental Care. I am the first face you see when you come in (Lucky You). I have been a dental receptionist for 20 years. I love people and try my best to make patients feel comfortable when they come in to us. Hoping to see you soon.

I grew up in a small town called Center, CO. I have three beautiful children and have been working as a Dental Assistant for 4 months. Recently, I also took an expanded function course to become an EDDA and I love my job.

Shanna, EDDA

I've been a Dental Assistant for five years and am also an instructor at Pueblo Community College in the Dental Assistant Program. I am a CDA (Certified Dental Assistant) and also an EFDA (Expanded Functions Dental Assistant). I'm working on my Bachelor's degree and I'm happily married with three children. Personally, I love Carmel Macchiato's from Starbuck's, watching the Broncos and shopping for purses!

Megan,

Born and raised in Pueblo, CO, I am a 2009 graduate of Pueblo Community College's Dental Hygiene Program. I am a RDH (Registered Dental Hygienist). In my time away from work, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and three dogs.

I am the Walsenburg Office Manager and Pueblo Administrative Assistant. I relocated to Southern Colorado a year ago from Bailey,Colorado. I spent many years in the Medical field and am enjoying the transition to Dental. Natalie has been married for 13 years and has three wonderful children. I was born in Pueblo, CO and have been a Dental Assistant for 6 years. I love working in Dentistry and spending time with my family. Recently, I finished my training to become an EDDA (Expanded Duties Dental Assistant).
